Garden by the Sea offers the complete package when it comes to your island home-away-from-home for your vacation. Whether you are looking for a long weekend or staying for an extended get away, there are no other St. John hotels that offer more in terms of value and comfort.
It’s not just our foliage that is green. Garden by the Sea has installed over 70 solar panels on the roof for power and hot water. Any excess power generated and not used is fed back to the island’s utility company. We also catch rain water from the roof, store it in a cistern below ground, use a three-stage ultra violet purification system, and use it for showering and drinking. These are just a few things we do to make sure we keep and maintain our environment lush and beautiful.
We are also a certified wildlife habitat situated within an Autobahn…another reason why we try to be as environmentally conscious as we can!
WILD GINGER ROOM 
Seasonal Rates of $175-$260 Per Night
The air conditioned Wild Ginger Room has a romantic canopy queen size four post bed, mosaic tile floors and your own private bathroom equipped with a hair dryer, comfy bathrobes and an open air tropical garden shower facing the rising sun.
All guests receive a well deserved ‘welcome drink’ upon arrival and included every day of your stay is:
- A FULL breakfast, HOMEMADE from scratch daily, on the shaded veranda surrounded by local Genip, bananas and a variety of palms trees. Enjoy fresh ground coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit daily along with our famous Eggs Benedict, Pina Colada French Toast with Bananas Foster sauce, potato crusted quiche and much more!
- Beach chairs, beach towels, blankets and coolers to enhance and ease your vacation experience.
- Access to the common kitchen area with microwave, refrigerator, blender and all for your convenience.
THE GARDEN ROOM
Seasonal Rates of $195-$280 Per Night
The air conditioned Garden Room has large windows with views overlooking the garden, high beamed ceilings, a romantic queen size four post canopy bed and your own private bathroom equipped with a hair dryer, comfy bathrobes and an open air tropical garden shower facing the rising sun. The Garden Room is also the only suite to offer a private sitting area.
All guests receive a well deserved ‘welcome drink’ upon arrival and included every day of your stay is:

The air conditioned Terrace Room features the privacy of being the only room on the second floor with a fabulous view of the turquoise waters of Frank Bay and beyond to the island of St. Thomas. With its own private veranda, cathedral ceilings and double sliding French doors, this bright and spacious room also enjoys a private bath equipped with a hair dryer and comfy bathrobes.
